General LAK Questions

All sessions will be streamed and recorded on our conference platform/event app Whova. If you are joining us online and not able to join sessions synchronously, you will have access to all recorded sessions as they will be made available shortly after the live presentation. These recordings will be found under the Video Gallery in Whova. This also is a benefit for all attendees so you never have to miss a session. Catch up on all presentations in the video gallery.
In addition, there will be several online networking sessions and online debriefs for online attendees. Check the schedule for full details in the beginning of March for these dates and times.
We will once again be utilizing Whova for LAK23 as the overall event app which will be available for all attendees. Online participants will utilize Whova to access all online activities.
More information will be released regarding access information, instructions and best practices as we get closer to the event.
Yes, all paper presentations, keynotes and panels will be recorded and will be available within Whova shortly after the presentations take place. Only registered participants will have access to the Whova recordings.
Yes! The pre-conference workshops on Monday, March 13 and Tuesday, March 14 are available for a separate fee. In the registration process, you will be asked about attending the pre-conference days only and then you will be able to select the sessions that you'd like to attend.
**Please do not select a pre-conference only ticket if you plan to attend the main conference

Online Only Participant Questions
This year will be LAK's first ever Hybrid conference. Running a hybrid conference entails increased technical assistance and equipment to record and stream in-person sessions. LAK23 fees are consistent or in fact, lower than other international conferences hosting hybrid events in 2022 and 2023.

We will not know the final program until early to mid-January as notifications for paper acceptance do not go out until December 2nd. Once we have the final program we will be able to communicate with certainty what the In-person program vs. the online program will look like.
We can say with certainty that ALL presentations will be recorded and made available to all participants via Whova. In addition, networking sessions for all participants will be facilitated throughout the week along with an online and in-person poster/demo session.
