No, due to moving online, we will be altering the schedule to follow our traditional LAK schedule of Monday - Friday. Pre-conference events will now be held on Monday & Tuesday, March 21-22, and the main conference will take place Wednesday - Friday, March 23 to 25, 2022.
However, please keep in mind our schedule is built based on submissions. Until we know the final submission number and have a final acceptance rate, the schedule is subject to change. We ask all authors and attendees to hold these dates for presenting and attending. As we get closer to the event, final program times will be shared. A final program is traditionally shared prior to the close of early-bird registration which ends on January 28, 2022.
We will once again be utilizing Whova and Gather.town for LAK22.
Whova will be used for all paper presentations, keynotes, panels, messaging and more.
Gather.town will be utilized for synchronous networking, breaks and live poster sessions.
More information will be released regarding access information, instructions and best practices as we get closer to the event.
Yes, there will be a fee for LAK22 which is another reason for making the decision for a fully virtual event prior to registration opening in order to have the fee as low as possible.
Yes, all paper presentations, keynotes and panels will be recorded and will be available within Whova shortly after the presentations take place. Only registered participants will have access to the Whova recordings.
