LAK23 Registration is now open!

Become a SoLAR Member to receive a LAK23 registration rate and other year-round benefits!
- Your SoLAR membership must be valid beyond March 2023 to be eligible for the LAK23 registration discount.
- SoLAR memberships only allow you one LAK registration discount in any 12 month period
- Note: If you have not received a membership confirmation email within 60 minutes of joining please check your spam folder as it may have been filtered by your email system.
- If your institution is a SoLAR member then you qualify for complimentary individual or student membership using the unique discount code provided to your institutional contact.
- Please note that this membership is not automatic, you will need to use the discount code provided to your institution to sign up for your free individual membership.
- During LAK Registration, you will be asked for your SoLAR/ACM Membership ID. To find your SoLAR Membership ID, you need to log in to your solaresearch.org membership account via the LogIn button in the top right corner. Your Membership ID is located on your membership account page which can be found here: https://www.solaresearch.org/membership-account/. Any questions regarding your SoLAR membership can be sent to info@solaresearch.org.
- Non-members who register at the reduced member rate will be asked to pay the difference plus a $25 USD administrative fee.
After you have registered, be sure to review all travel and hotel information available on the website! Full program information will be available after paper notifications are sent. More information to come on how you will be able to engage online throughout the conference.
Registration Rates
All Conference Fees are in USD and include all taxes and fees.
LAK23 Organizers and SoLAR are happy to announce that LAK23’s registration fees remain unchanged from 2019 the last time LAK was held in person.
Full Conference Package (In-Person)
Includes all main conference sessions (Wednesday, March 15 – Friday, March 17), breakfast and lunch for the three main conference days, along with Networking sessions and Wednesday evening Poster Reception. Plus the full package includes the Conference Dinner Event on Thursday March 16, 2023 at Texas Live! Arlington Backyard. Does NOT include admission to any Pre-Conference Workshop Events. All Workshops/Tutorials events must be purchased separately.
Main Conference Only (In-Person)
Includes all main conference sessions (Wednesday, March 15 – Friday, March 17), breakfast and lunch for the three main conference days, along with Networking sessions and Wednesday evening Poster Reception. Does NOT include admission to the Conference Dinner Event or any Pre-Conference Workshop Events. All Workshops/Tutorials events must be purchased separately.
Scholarships and Financial Assistance available!
LAK23 Conference Scholarship Information Available Now. In-Person scholarship deadline is December 1, 2022. Online scholarship deadline is February 15, 2023.

LAK23 Refund Policy
The 13th International Learning Analytics & Knowledge Conference refund policy is as follows:
All refund requests must be received in writing to lakconference@gmail.com
- Requests received by February 1, 2023, 11:59pm (AOE) will receive a full refund, less a $25 USD administrative fee.
- Requests received by February 18, 2023, 11:59pm (AOE) will receive a 50% refund, less a $25 USD administrative fee.
- Requests received after February 18, 2023 will receive no refund.
All refunds will be processed through the original form of payment.
No exception will be made to the cancellation/refund policy for registrants due to personal or travel related issues, natural disasters, or other acts of God.
LAK23 shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impossible.
TRAVEL VISA ISSUES: We recognize that individuals are facing long wait times for visa application appointments and processing. If you envisage this to be the case for you, we recommend that you register for Virtual Conference attendance. Please email lakconference@gmail.com to discuss your individual situation further IF you already have an appointment SCHEDULED prior to 1 February 2023.
LAK23 Transfer Policy
Unable to attend but someone from your university or organisation can? You’re in luck!
We are now able to accept transfer requests.
Rules for Ticket Transfers:
- All transfer requests must be submitted to lakconference@gmail.com by March 1, 2023, 11:59pm AOE
- Absolutely no transfers will be accepted after the above deadline.
- There are no changes in ticket categories for ticket transfers. For example, if you purchased a member priced ticket, the new attendee must also be a member or purchase membership.
- Regular tickets can be transferred to students but there is no price adjustment available
- Student tickets cannot be transferred to non-students
