The 2018 Learning Analytics Summer Institute will be co-hosted by New York University and Teachers College Columbia University. The event will take place on the Teachers College Columbia University campus. All speakers, workshops, and tutorials will take place within Horace Mann Hall. In addition to great networking, workshop and tutorial sessions, and speakers, the LASI18 organizers have arranged for a Monday night welcome reception at Teachers College and a Tuesday evening visit to NYU’s trailblazing interdisciplinary MAGNET facility on the Brooklyn campus where computer scientists, educators and artists work shoulder to shoulder on exciting challenges at the intersection of technology and society.

Venue Information:
All LASI18 events, workshops and tutorials will take place at Teachers College Columbia University in Horace Mann & Zankel Hall (except for the June 12 NYU LEARN event in Brooklyn). Please see updated map here.

• If traveling by Subway, you’ll want to take the 1 train to 116 Street-Columbia University/Broadway. From there you’ll walk up Broadway to 120th Street.
• On MONDAY, 6/11, please enter Teachers College on the North side, in the middle of the block, on 120th St between Amsterdam Ave and Broadway, at the main building, Zankel Hall.
  • LASI Registration will take place in Zankel Hall on Monday only.
• On TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, please enter Horace Mann directly from Broadway. There will be Teachers College Public Safety Officers at the entrance on Broadway for LASI attendees only. This entrance will only be accessible for limited hours each morning of the event, from 7:30am to 9:30am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Outside of these hours, all attendees will need to enter through the main entrance of Zankel Hall with their event badges.
