Market Dynamics to Accelerate the Educational Data Science Field

The intention is to share the perspective of one Foundation’s approach to investing in Learning Analytics.  It’s a  very exciting field with the potential to inform a range of dramatic improvements to the student’s learning experience, so long as enough system leaders and their instructors pay atttention and decide to act on the evidence being shown them.  What conditions might contribute to more rapid adoption of the outputs of Analysts’ work, how might a market-based mechanism be applied to help them scale their impact and how can Foundations stimulate and support this growth?
