Learning Analytics for Latin America (LALA) SIG
This SIG emerges as a continuation of the activities and efforts of the LALA project (http://lalaproject.org/). The LALA project is funded by the European Commission and its main objective is to build capacity for learning analytics adoption in Latin America.
SIG Goals:
The main goal of this SIG is to promote good research and practice of LA in Latin America. Specifically, we
aim to:
- Facilitate knowledge exchange among Latin American and international communities related to
learning analytics (maintain the LALA community), - Support local initiatives of learning analytics,
- Enable the exchange of best practices and guidelines for learning analytics research, and
- Advance learning analytics research and practice.
