LASI 19 Accommodations
A variety of accommodation options are available on the UBC campus, and are listed below. Note that on leaving campus, nearest hotels are in central Vancouver, 10km away. The UBC campus is well served by public transit, but participants staying off campus will need to plan their travel time to reach LASI sessions promptly.

LASI 19 Organizers have arranged for a variety of room blocks and have listed suggested accommodation options. You may also find options for sublet rooms or apartments on the UBC campus using popular bookings services such as Airbnb or booking.com.

St. John's College Summer Housing
Room Rates - $102 per night + tax
Perfectly situated for LASI 19, St. John’s College offers summer accommodation rooms to academic visitors to UBC in comfortable single rooms furnished with a twin bed and private washroom. Guests dine with College residents; Continental breakfast is served Monday through Friday.

St. John's College Guest Housing

Perfectly situated for LASI 19, St. John’s College offers additional guest accommodation rooms to academic visitors to UBC in rooms furnished with a queen bed or double bed and private washroom. Guests dine with College residents; Continental breakfast is served Monday through Friday.
The Guest accommodations with Queen/Double bed options are NOT included in the LASI19 room block however, attendees are welcome to book these rooms if available.

Pacific Spirit Hostel
Room Rates - from $59 to $118 + 8% sales tax

Private, single and double rooms, shared lounge with LCD TV, on-site laundry, bed linens, towels, and bath amenities provided. Shared washroom. Parking is $10/day plus applicable taxes. Free wifi in lobby—In-room wifi is available with a router rental for $2/day (limited quantities only). Weekly permits can be purchased for longer term parking.
Green College Guest Accommodations

Green College is holding a limited number of rooms for LASI participants:
Standard Guest House rooms with double beds, private bathrooms and a wireless internet connection. Room amenities include telephone access for local calling, mini-fridge and coffee maker with in-suite coffee and tea selections.
Premium Guest House Rooms with queen beds, private bathrooms and a wireless internet connection. Room amenities include telephone access for local calling, mini-fridge and coffee maker with in-suite coffee and tea selections.
Please note that Green College has a limited number of rooms suitable for persons with mobility disabilities. Much of the property is on steep terrain, with many stairs throughout the facility. Please enquire with staff about your reservation if you have a disability.

Guests participate in the Green College Dining Society meal plan from Sunday through Thursday (when the College serves meals), and a charge for dinners and breakfasts per night will be reflected on your accommodation invoice.

Carey Hall guest accommodations include:
10 Queen rooms ($125 plus tax per night)
10 Twin rooms ($125 plus tax per night)
5 single rooms and it is $116 plus tax.
Rooms are not being held for LASI, but you are welcome to seek a reservation at this location.
UBC Triumf House
