Brief description

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in e-Learning for Digital Citizenship in the Faculty of Education, to commence on February 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of three years. The appointee will be a key member of the research team associated with a Hong Kong Research Grants Council funded Theme-Based Research Project on this topic. This project will address research questions about the impact of digital media on human development and the everyday life of children and youths. Cutting-edge research designs and instrumentation will be developed and deployed to address the grand challenge of understanding and assessing digital citizenship development as a human capacity and its relationship to children’s learning lives (formal, informal, digital and non-digital). The project will also be developing online serious games for the learning and assessment of collaborative problem solving.
